Dr. Gail Weingast is a certified M.D. and medical specialist who is today the Chief of Ultrasound and Chief of Breast Imaging at the William W. Backus Hospital in Norwich, Connecticut. She works in Connecticut as an M.D. and radiologist because these are the fields she has an interest in and the fields she has a passion for. Over the last twenty years, Dr. Gail Weingast has served as a successful radiologist at a number of different hospitals. Dr. Gail Weingast has enough experience in the industry to handle the equipment and know what it is that she is looking at and looking for.

Dr. Gail Weingast M.D. has worked all over the United States, ranging from Colorado to Connecticut. She first worked as a medical doctor as a pediatrician at the La Casa Clinic in Denver Colorado, working at Denver Health and Hospitals from 1979 until 1980. After that, she made a move to Humana Aurora in Aurora, Colorado. At Humana Aurora, Dr. Gail Weingast worked as a radiologist for two years, from 1984 until 1986. The kept the job as radiologist, but moved to Fitzsimmons Army Medical Center in Aurora, Colorado, 1986-1987.

It was in 1985 that Dr. Gail Weingast first started working with the University of Colorado at the Health Sciences Center in Denver, CO. She worked from that time until 1990 as an Association Clinical Professor. She was working concurrently in 1987 until 1990 as the Chief of Medical Imaging and the Director of Breast Screen at the AMC Cancer Research Center in Lakewood, Colorado. Since 1990, Dr. Gail Weingast has been employed at the William W. Backus Hospital in Norwich, Connecticut. She has worked as a radiologist, Chief of Ultrasound, and then as the Chief of Breast Imaging. From 2009 until 2010, she also served as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Radiology at the New York University Clinical Cancer Center.
